Year 2022 Water Quality Reports (Issued May 2023)

Consumer Confidence Report

The Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) is designed to inform consumers about water quality. The report includes information about the water supply source, detected contaminants and violations (with corrective actions) that occurred during the reporting year.

A water supplier is required to provide the CCR to water consumers by July 1st of each year, according to Title XIV of the United States Public Health Service Act, (Chapter 373, 88 Stat. 1660), popularly known as The Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), and the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act (1976 PA399, amended to 1998, PA56).

The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) is the regulator for the systems that WRC operates and maintains. There are numerous regulations included in the Michigan Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) that operators must abide by for compliance and maintaining water quality.
