The Oakland County Clerk's Office (Pontiac Office) is open by appointment or walk-ins. Please schedule an appointment for in-person services. Appointments will take priority over walk-ins. Note: the Troy Office will continue to be by appointment only.

  • Marriage Certificates
• Apply for Marriage License – in-person only
• Apply to become a Notary Public – in-person only
• Apply for a new Concealed Pistol License – in-person only
• Renew a Concealed Pistol License – renew online through MSP or in-person
  • To obtain a new PIN, email us at cpl@oakgov.com and provide a copy of your driver's license showing proof of current address and the last 4 digits of your SSN
• Assumed Name/Co-Partnership – by mail or in-person
