Hearings and Arraignments

48th District Court hearings are continuing to proceed both in-person and remotely via Zoom. Please closely review your Notice To Appear. If your Notice to Appear does NOT state Zoom, then you are required to appear in person.

If you are experiencing flu-related symptoms or believe you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, please refrain from entering the building and call the court at (248) 647-1141. Face masks must be worn in some areas of the courthouse.

Arraignments are held in-person on:

Monday and Tuesday 12:30pm - 3:00pm
Thursday 8:30am - 11:00am & 12:30pm - 3:00pm  
Friday 8:30am - 11:00am & 12:30pm - 3:00pm

Violation of these prohibitions may result in sanctions, including removal of court-issued media credentials, restricted entry to future hearings, denial of entry to future hearings, or any other sanctions deemed necessary by the court. Members of the press and public are also expected to mute their phones and to not disrupt proceedings in any manner.
