There are some offenses by law which are waivable as seen in the table below. No proof of insurance is not a waivable offense.

To waive a violation:

  • Present the ticket to any law enforcement officer to certify correction within 10 days of issuance of ticket. After the 10 days you can no longer have the fines and costs waived.
  • Mail or bring the ticket to the court at the address on the front of the ticket within 14 days of the issuance date. The ticket will not be dismissed, but the fines and costs will be waived.

The fines for offenses listed below may only be waived if the ticket is marked "Waivable" by the Officer.
