The 52-3 District Court Judges and Magistrates perform marriage ceremonies for residents living in the Court's jurisdiction. Contact the District Court at least two (2) weeks in advance of the date that you would like to schedule your wedding.

Please note that if either party is unable to speak and/or understand English, a State-certified interpreter will be required. Parties are responsible for coordinating their own interpreters, and must select an interpreter who is State-certified. View a list of State-certified interpreters. Please also note that, if the magistrate determines that an interpreter is required, and one is not present, the wedding ceremony will need to be adjourned to a later date. Depending on scheduling availability, this may require the issuance of a new marriage certificate. If you have any questions, please contact the Court for assistance.
