The following fines may be paid on-line, in person or by mail on or before the appearance date noted on the front of the ticket. If paying by mail, along with your signed copy of the ticket, send a check or money order (do not mail cash) payable to: 50th District Court. (After Hours Drop Box Available).

*Fine and costs will be waived if a law enforcement agency signs off on the ticket, indicating that the repair of the defective equipment was made. You must bring this certification from the law enforcement agency to the Court within 10 days of the date the ticket was issued.

**If you have proof that vehicle was insured at time ticket was issued - actual proof must be shown to Court within 10 days. With timely proof, you will only be assessed $25 that cannot be waived.

Failure to Answer Ticket

Failure to answer ticket on or before appearance date or to appear at a hearing may result in a bench warrant or a default judgment entered against you, a $35 late penalty, and suspension of your driver's license. Upon suspension of your driving privileges, an additional $45 cost for reinstatement will be assessed. This fine schedule is subject to change without notice and may not apply to cases heard in court.
