The Honorable Jeremy Darnell Bowie is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor's of Art in Political Science-Prelaw  After graduating from Michigan State University, Judge Bowie lived in the District of Columbia where he worked in the United States Senate for Senator Carl Levin (D-M) and in the White House for the Barack H. Obama II Administration.  Judge Bowie is a graduate of the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he earned his Juris Doctor in May of 2015.

Judge Bowie worked for the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office where he prosecuted misdemeanor and felony domestic violence cases.  Judge Bowie resigned from the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office in February of 2020 and entered into private practice.  Most recently, Judge Bowie worked at The Perkins Law Group, PLLC in Detroit, MI where he practiced state and federal criminal defense.  Judge Bowie was selected to The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in August 2022.

On December 14, 2022, Judge Bowie was appointed to the 50th Judicial District Court in Pontiac, Michigan by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. 

When Judge Bowie is not working, he enjoys traveling, mentoring, reading, golfing, sports, and spending time with his family and friends.  Jeremy dedicates his evenings and weekends during the school year to mentoring students at the International Technology Academy in Pontiac, Michigan.  He is a mentor on the Wings of Fire (Team 51), a FIRST Robotics Team.  Judge Bowie is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.  He was initiated into the Gamma Lambda Chapter in Detroit, MI on November 4, 2017.
