Give archery a shot at Independence Oaks County Park! Archery is a great way to build strength and improve concentration. It boosts hand-eye coordination, enhances upper body strength and increases confidence.

Archery Class Information

Six-week beginner and intermediate archery instruction is offered for all ages/abilities during spring and summer. Each class has a specific focus with drills to refine skills and games to keep archers on their toes. Check back for details on future classes as they are announced.

Archery Birthday Parties

Archery range birthday parties offer a fun, outdoor celebration option for ages 8 and older. Package includes range time, themed craft and celebration time after the range (total time 2.5 hours). Tent and picnic tables are provided; guests must provide their own birthday party supplies. Targets will be decorated based on one of the following themes:

• Zombie
• Art
• Superheroes

There is a maximum of 10 archers per party. Cost is $20/participant. Range will be closed in the event of rain, thunder or lightning for guest safety.
