Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Emergency Shelter Grant (ESG), Oakland County Home Consortium Home Investment Partnerships (HOME) Grant
Annual Action Plan 2023-2024
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, September 29, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. EST, the Oakland County Neighborhood and Housing Development division (OCNHD) will conduct a Public Hearing to discuss the proposed use of Grant funds for the Plan Year (PY) 2023 Annual Action Plan.
The Hearing will take place at the Oakland County North Health Office on the county campus at 1200 N. Telegraph Rd, Building #34E, Pontiac, MI 48341. If concerned citizens who plan to attend the Public Hearing are hearing impaired or non-English speaking, please contact the Neighborhood and Housing Development office at (248) 858-0493 or nhd@oakgov.com so that proper arrangements can be made. Please do so by September 20, 2023, if possible.
The Annual Action Plan is used to guide decision making in the distribution of federal grants received by the County. A draft version of the Plan Year (PY) 2023 Annual Action Plan is available online for public review starting at www.oakgov.com/nhd under Publications and Annual Action Plan at the top of the page. Paper copies are also available at the Neighborhood and Housing Development division office.
The public is invited to attend the hearing on the Plan Year (PY) 2023 Annual Action Plan and the proposed use of funds. Please contact Neighborhood & Housing Development at nhd@oakgov.com or call (248)858-0493 should you have any questions regarding this hearing.

NOTICE OF GRANT APPLICATION MEETING
OAKLAND COUNTY EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANT (ESG) PROGRAM
PROGRAM YEAR 2023
Program operators of homeless shelters and non-profit agencies that provide services to persons who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Oakland County are invited to a grant application meeting regarding funding for shelter operations and rapid re-housing and homeless prevention activities for the 2023 ESG program. The meeting will be held virtually on:
Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
Via Microsoft Teams
Oakland County ESG funds may be used to reimburse non-profit agencies for essential services, operating and organizational support expenses for emergency shelters as well as for providing financial assistance and housing relocation and stabilization services to prevent or end homelessness.
Applications and supporting materials as well as a link to join the meeting will be distributed electronically to those who register for the meeting. Those interested in applying for funding are strongly encouraged to attend.

Notice is hereby given that on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. EST, the Oakland County Neighborhood and Housing Development division (OCNHD) Citizens’ Advisory Council (CAC) will conduct a Public Hearing to discuss the proposed use of Grant funds for the Plan Year (PY) 2023 Annual Action Plan.
The Hearing and Citizens’ Advisory Council meeting will take place at the Oakland County North Health Office on the county campus at 1200 N. Telegraph Rd, Building #34E, Pontiac, MI 48341. If concerned citizens who plan to attend the Public Hearing are hearing impaired or non-English speaking, please contact the Neighborhood and Housing Development office at (248) 858-0493 or nhd@oakgov.com so that proper arrangements can be made.
