Survey Oakland is a subscription-based service that provides all survey-related geographic data for Oakland County. The extensive information includes weekly updates of:

• Areas and boundaries for Public Land Survey System (PLSS),
• Location of section corners with Land Corner Recordation Certificates (LCRCs) and dossiers for peer-approved, remonumented corners 
• Property controlling corners  
• National Geodetic Survey (NGS) control stations and datasheets
• PDFs of unrecorded and historical surveys and original survey/site plans (Exhibit Bs)
• Standard mapping layers such as FEMA floodplains, tax parcels, elevation lines (1', 5', 10' contours)

An Access Oakland Business or Government Account is required to use Survey Oakland. Business Accounts require proof of RLS (Registered Land Surveyor), PS (Professional Surveyor), or other professional license such as those listed below before service will be activated.

Cost

Survey Oakland is available as a 1 year subscription (October 1 through September 30) for $500.

When a new subscription is requested, the cost is prorated as follows:

• October through December: $500
• January through March: $375
• April through June: $250
• July through September: $125
