Commanding Officer: Captain Melissa McClellan

Satellite Services encompasses the Court Services division, and is staffed by 104 full-time and 120 part-time employees, including a Captain and one Lieutenant, who provide the leadership, management and administration for the Division.

The Court Services Unit is a multi-tasked unit which provides security for the Oakland County Court Building. Hours of operation at the Circuit Court Building (map/directions below) are 8:00am-5:30pm. No cell phones/smart phones or tablets are allowed into the building if they are capable of taking pictures. When visiting the Clerk's Office, Treasurer's Office, or Board of Commissioners, the South entrance provides easiest access. Any entrance is suitable for any other business.

This Unit is also responsible for prisoner transport from the various detention facilities around the County Complex as well as out-county facilities.

The video arraignment system, OakVideo, is alleviating some of the need to transport inmates to the Court Services Detention Area.

Additionally, Court Services provides security during trials and special events on the county's complex.
